Address Shield

Address validation at checkout, for Shopify stores.

Address Shield checks the delivery address while your customer is still at the checkout, and asks them to correct anything that would cause a delivery to fail. Nothing is cancelled, held or rewritten, and the customer fixes it themselves before the order ever reaches you.

What it checks

• Missing house numbers
• Missing apartment or suite numbers
• Special characters and emojis that break shipping labels
• PO boxes, if your carriers cannot deliver to them
• Zip or postal codes you do not ship to

Every check can be switched on or off, and checkout messages appear in your customer's own language across 11 languages.

Addresses never leave Shopify

The check runs inside Shopify's own checkout. Your customers' addresses are never sent to our servers, never stored by us, and never shared. It is also why the app asks for no access to your orders or customers.

Getting started

Address Shield is installed from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.
